Update: Councillor Richard Mayo contaced the Ross Gazette after the police apeal for witnesses was published on this website. He said that, following a number of accidents which have occurred on this section of High Street he, and other county councillors, have been putting pressure on Herefordshire Council about the dangerous state of the road and pavement.
He said: “I am pleased to report that as part of the Rosswyn development Section 106 money has been made available for road improvements which will include narrowing the road, raising the pavements, erecting bollards and creating a crossing point.”
He added: “We are now continuing to push to get this done before the development is finished.”
