A tale as old as time at Walford School

By Ross Gazette reporter in Local People

To mark the end of their final year at Walford Primary School, the children in Year 6 thrilled audiences with three amazing performances of the musical, Beauty and the Beast.

Ably supported by a choir of children from Year 4 and Year 5, the incredibly talented leavers’ captivated audiences as they sang, danced and acted their way through the show.

Paul Deneen, Chair of Governors said, “Huge congratulations to Year 6 Leavers’ for three show stopping performances of Beauty and the Beast this week – you are all incredibly talented and accomplished young adults. Many thanks, once again, to our amazing PTFA who raised a staggering £429.78 – your continued support is appreciated greatly.”

Parents, carers, grandparents and visitors were amazed with the confident performances displayed by every member of the Year 6 cast who demonstrated most clearly that they are ready to take on the next challenge in their school careers.
