The first meeting of the Ross Town Youth Council was held on Monday, July 2nd at 6.30pm.

A written ballot was held to elect officers, Charlotte Prince was elected Chairman and Beth Bushell was elected Vice Chairman of the council. A finance committee was also set up.

The 12 councillors all received a letter of welcome and support from MP Jesse Norman.

The councillors then discussed various ideas they had for projects and fundraising ideas. They also all agreed to serve at least a two year term of office.
