The Forest of Dean Motor Club is hoping to organise a Wyedean Rally next year even though it will not be part of the BTRDA championship for 2016.

The Forest of Dean Motor Club said that they are bitterly disappointed to be dropped from the BTRDA championship. After running one of the most popular events in the series for 30 years the club feels let down and disappointed at the decision made by the BTRDA.

The FODMC waited until its Annual General Meeting to discuss the events of the past month and it was clear that many members are positive about future of rallying in the Forest of Dean.

The club intends to run the event next year and hope to engage the support of other championships in the hope that the true popularity of the event can be measured.
