A 30 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, in connection with the death of Christian Bagley, a man who was killed in Hereford last year.
The 30 year old man was arrested this morning (Tuesday, April 19th). He remains in police custody and is currently being questioned by officers.
Christian died on Father’s Day, June 21st 2015, after he was stabbed in the arm and back as he walked under Hunderton Bridge in Hereford on his way home from visiting his daughter.
West Mercia Police have also re-released an image of a man that they want to speak to, as they believe this man may have information about the incident. Detective Chief Inspector Leighton Harding said: "The individual in the image was seen in the area the day before Christian was killed and as of yet we have been unable to identify him. We ask anyone who may know the identity of the man to come forward. Similarly if you recognise yourself in the image please get in touch as you could hold key information to help us to find out what happened to Christian on the day he died."
The man in the images has been described as white and speaks with an Eastern European accent. He was seen on the river towpath and entered the Costcutter on Belmont Road just after 11:30pm on Saturday 20th June 2015. He is thought to be in his mid-twenties and was seen wearing an Adidas cap, a dark jacket with a light coloured motif on the front left side, light coloured tracksuit style trousers and trainers with blue laces.
