The Ambulance service was called to Coppett Hill near Goodrich at 6.15pm on Friday, August 5th after eyewitnesses saw a hang glider crash into a hill.
The eyewitness told the ambulance service that they believed there were two casualties, who were not moving, and were possibly still under the canopy.
A community first responder, an ambulance, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene.
The Ambulance service then received an updated report from the police, who had seen someone walking down the hill, away from the hang glider.
Within half an hour of the call being received, the aircrew, who were overhead, confirmed that there was only one patient, who had been on the hang glider. He gave them a thumbs up and he seemed uninjured.
The land ambulance crew then set off on foot to find him, as there was nowhere for the air ambulance to land.
The land ambulance crew advised that the air ambulance could stand down. They were with the patient who was uninjured. He had landed by accident, and had not crash landed due to an injury.
