Local police officers are appealing for information, following a ‘hit and run’ incident on the B4224 in Hereford last week.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 22nd at approximately 10.05pm on the B4224, between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye.

The driver of a Volkswagen Passat, which is believed to have been travelling towards Ross, veered onto the wrong side of the road, and was involved in an offside collision with a Ford Mondeo Edge.

The driver of the Volkswagen did not stop after the collision. Police believe that the Volkswagen sustained some damage to its wing mirror.
