A road traffic collision occurred on the back road between Kingstone and Cockyard, at approximately 2.22pm on Friday, February 12th, when a mid blue sporty type vehicle, possibly a Ford, collided with a silver vehicle, and failed to stop and give details.

The lady driver of the silver vehicle was injured and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the blue vehicle is described as mid 20s and dark skinned, but not black or Asian.

His vehicle is likely to have sustained considerable damage to the driver’s side front and wing, judging by the debris left behind, and a very large piece of the bodywork will be missing, as it has been left embedded in the silver vehicle’s door.
