Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area of Old Eign Hill and Hampton Dene Road in Hereford on Friday, January 11th at around 7.30am to 8:00am.

They would like to speak to anyone in the area or anyone who may have dash cam footage from the area.

It is reported that a female, in her late teens, was approached by a man who made attempts to lead her to a vehicle.

Detective Inspector Mark Peters of Hereford CID said: "Officers have spoken with the family and are making various enquiries concerning this incident.

"If anyone was in the area at the time of the incident or saw anyone acting suspicious in the Old Eign Hill and Hampton Dene Road area of Hereford please contact the police. We are particularly keen to get any dash cam footage from the area."
