The owner of a flock of sheep kept in a field at Greytree called the police on Sunday, January 8th after he discovered a strange vehicle and some men in his field.

He told the Ross Gazette that he saw three men in his field and there was a truck and a stock box parked around the corner. He chased them away and called the police.

He said that the police have told him they will keep an eye out for a truck and stock box driving around at night to get a registration. They will also check on the sheep through the night.

The sheep were moved out of their paddock to the bottom of the field closer to the main gate but, thankfully nothing was taken. The owner contacted the Ross Gazette as he wants to warn other farmers to keep a close eye on their stock.
