A woman was the victim of a distraction theft in the car park at Morrisons in Ross-on-Wye, between 1.30pm and 1.45pm on Tuesday, November 10th.

The woman was returning to her car when she was spoken to by an Eastern European male, who distracted her by saying that there were some wires hanging from her car.

The woman placed her shopping bags and debit card on the front seat and inspected the car, he then told to her to open the bonnet. At some stage it is believed that the man took the debit card.

The card was used several times to withdraw cash before the lady realised it was missing. The man is described as Eastern European, with brown hair, 5 foot 8” or 9” and clean shaven. Call the police on 101 quoting incident OIS: 171S 141115 if you have any information.
