A man, suffering cardiac arrest in Ross-on-Wye this morning (Friday, April 15th) was unable to be saved by the emergency services, and he died at an address in the centre of town.

A spokesperson from the West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that they were called just after 10am to reports of a patient in cardiac arrest. One paramedic attended, but the man was confirmed dead at the scene.

Police also attended the scene. A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told the Gazette: “We were informed that the body of a man had been found at an address in Ross-on-Wye.”Formal identification has not yet taken place and police officers are trying to trace the man's next of kin. His death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
