West Mercia Police have called off their search for a missing Hereford woman, 49-year-old Julie Lloyd, after a body was discovered in the River Wye.

Julie’s next of kin have been informed. A formal identification is due to take place.

The body was discovered at around 1:30pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 24th) near to the Rotherwas Industrial Estate in Hereford.

Julie was last seen just after 7:20am on Tuesday morning (February 23rd) near to The Hereford Academy school.
