A man entered the open garage of a property in Eastfield Road in Ross-on-Wye at 1.35am on Sunday, March 20th.

He stole an ACER laptop and a DEWALT 18V cordless drill, the empty case for the drill, a case containing an old Dewalt drill and a case containing various items of electrical cabling.

He placed the stolen items inside a black ‘Jeep’ back pack that he had also stolen from the garage.

On leaving, the thief was seen by the occupants of the house who gave chase and detained the man. However, when he dropped all the items they let him go before they called the Police.
