At 9am this morning, Tuesday, January 31st, crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a bus on fire.

The bus was on fire outside the Forge & Hammer Inn in Lydbrook and two pumps attended, one from Cinderford and one from Coleford.

They found that the bus was well alight, with the fire starting in the engine bay but no passengers were on the bus at the time.

Crews used one jet, one hose reel and four breathing apparatus to deal with the fire.

GFRS have requested police attend to manage traffic and they told the Ross Gazette that they are likely to be on scene for a while.
