Police were called to reports of a silver Dodge being in collision with sheep that had wandered onto the A49, near Winter Cross, Peterstow, at approximately 10.15pm yesterday (Thursday, July 20th).

The occupants of the vehicle were uninjured, but a vet was called to the location concerning the welfare of up to 30 sheep, believed to have been injured, with reports of 4-5 being dead on police arrival.
