A 22-year-old man admitted causing a young mum’s death by driving carelessly when he was almost twice over the alcohol limit.

Adam Selway, of English Bicknor, pleaded guilty at Gloucester Crown Court to driving without due care and attention at Mile End, Coleford, and causing the death of Lucy Vaughan, 22, on April 17th last year.

Selway also admitted that he was driving his Nissan Primera without insurance and that he did not have a licence.

Judge Michael Cullum agreed to adjourn until February 16th, imposed an interim driving ban on Selway and granted him bail pending the next hearing.
