The emergency services were called to a two vehicle traffic collision on Saturday, October 22nd at 6.45pm, at the crossroads at the Old Gore, where the A449 meets the B4224 near Ross-on-Wye.
A silver Hyundai Santa Fe and a black BMW 318 were involved in the collision.
The fire service were also called to the scene. Crews from Ross-on-Wye and Fownhope attended, and one male casualty from the BMW was released by firefighters, using hydraulic cutting gear. He was treated at the scene by paramedics.
A spokesperson from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told the Ross Gazette that three other casualties conveyed to hospital via ambulance.

A spokesperson from the West Midlands Ambulance Service told the Ross Gazette that three ambulances and a paramedic area support officer attended the scene.The spokesperson said: "We treated four patients in total; a man in his 20s with head and chest injuries. He was given trauma care on scene, before being alerted to Hereford Hospital. "A second man suffered a knee injury and a third man sustained a shoulder injury. He was given pain relief before both men were taken to the same hospital for further treatment. "A fourth patient, a woman in her 50s, was also taken to Hereford Hospital, due to underlying health concerns."The woman was travelling in the Santa Fe with her husband, he told the Ross Gazette she was recovering from a recent liver transplant and was still in Hereford Hospital but making steady progress following the incident.
