Emergency serves were called out to a collision involving a pedestrian and car in Ross-On-Wye on the morning of Tuesday, January 14th.

West Midlands Ambulance service received a call at 7.04am to an incident on Ledbury Road with an ambulance and a Basics emergency doctor for Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) attending the scene along with West Mercia Police.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson told the Ross Gazette: “We were called at 7.04am to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrian on Ledbury Road in Ross-On-Wye.

“On arrival at the scene we found one patient, a woman, who was the pedestrian. She was treated for injuries not believed to be serious, and was taken to Hereford County Hospital for treatment.”

West Mercia Police confirmed to the Ross Gazette that the collision was between a black Volkswagen Golf and a pedestrian. The pedestrian received no injuries to her legs, and no arrests were made.
