A local resident recently contacted the Ross Gazette, regarding concerns of drug dealing in his neighbourhood.

The Ross-on-Wye Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We encourage anyone with concerns about drug dealing to report it on 101 or by e-mailing their local safer neighbourhood team. All reports help us to build up an intelligence picture.

“We don’t respond immediately to all reports. We need to have a strong intelligence package before we can apply to court for search and arrest warrants. Every piece of information, no matter how small, helps us to build up a stronger intelligence picture and identify people responsible for dealing drugs in our communities.”See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now
