Firecrews from Ross-on-Wye and a water carrier from Worcester were still at the scene of a huge fire at the Haigh Industrial Estate this morning, Thursday, February 4th.

The fire which started yesterday evening tore through Aqua-Heat and The Safety Shack which have both been destroyed by the fire.

Neighbouring businesses are still operating but many of the traders expressed their horror and shock at what had happened.

Several plumbers who had come to collect supplies told the Ross Gazette that this will impact not just on their businesses but also on other suppliers throughout the county.

A water carrier arrived on scene at 9.20am so that the firecrews did not have to access water from hydrants.

An officer at the scene explained that the firecrews had not gained access to the interior of the building as it was too unstable and small pockets of fire could still be seen burning.
