Local police officers are investigating a number of crimes which took place in the Ross-on-Wye area, during the past few days. They ask that if any local residents have any further information about any of the following incidents, they call 101, and give the reference number provided.

Theft from Church

Burglars entered the church at Brockhampton via an unlocked main door. A black box is located near to the entrance, and the lid was levered open, and an amount of money was stolen from within the box. The incident reference number is: 271-S-180416

Suspicious circumstances

Residents who live at The Gresleys, in Ross-on-Wye, spotted a white panel van driving up and down the road, stopping so that the occupants could look at properties. They were spotted doing this at approximately 3.20pm on Tuesday, April 19th. There were two men in the van, these were described as a white man and an Asian man, they were estimated to be in their 20s to 30s. The vehicle registration is KP04 XSY. Burglary in Hom Green

A shed was broken into on Tuesday, April 19th, between 8.50am and 5.10pm. This was located in the back garden of a property in Hom Green. Nothing appears to have been stolen from within. The reference is: 126-S-200416
