Local police officers are investigating a number of crimes which took place in the Ross-on-Wye area, during the past few days. They ask that if any local residents have any further information about any of the following incidents, they call 101, and give the reference number provided.
Bikes stolen
Two bikes were taken from a garage in Chase Road, between 7pm on October 5th and 8am on October 6th.
Someone forced open the garage door and pushed it to one side.
One of the bikes taken was an 18 month-old mountain bike, a Merida Big 7 100 black with splashes of green worth approximately £750 and one road bike, a Cube Peloton black and red bike worth £800.

Burglary at Symonds Yat
Sometime during the last two weeks, while the occupiers were away, a garage at Symonds Yat was broken into.
Locks and bolts were cut to gain access. The items stolen include a Makita strimmer, a Dewalt bench cutter, a log splitter and a chainsaw.

Property broken into
A property on the Old Ross Road in Whitchurch was broken into between 8.15am and 9.05pm on October 8th.
A rear window was smashed to gain entry into the utility room.
A white Skoda, with the registration VU15 YOA, was stolen, after the keys were taken from the premises. Three bikes were also stolen, as well as a purse containing cash and cards.
