Local police officers are investigating a number of crimes which took place in the Ross-on-Wye area, during the past few days. They ask that if any local residents have any further information about any of the following incidents, they call 101, and give the reference number provided.
Oak stolen from a Llangarron barn
A quantity of oak has been stolen from within a gated barn at Llangarron, Ross-on-Wye.
The wood was taken between Thursday, December 8th and Sunday, December 11th.

Burglary attempt
An attempt was made to break into a garage in Alton Avenue in Ross-on-Wye between 10pm on December 8th and 8am on December 9th. The offenders were disturbed so nothing was taken.

Attempt made to break-in
A homeowner returned to a property in Springfield Road in Ross to find that the front and back door to their home had been forced open.
The owner returned home at about 1.30pm on Thursday, December 1st to discover the doors wide open. It is unknown what has been stolen at this time.

Window cracked
A lower front window of a property in Orchard View, Lea was cracked by unknown means overnight between November 30th and December 1st.

Vehicle batteries stolen in Ross
Between 20 and 30 vehicle batteries were stolen from an unlocked box at the Recycling Centre in Station Street, Ross-on-Wye.
The batteries were taken between 5pm on Sunday, November 27th and 8am on Thursday, December 1st.
