POLICE investigating an alleged hit and run crash in St Owen’s Cross say they are trying to track down a cyclist who may have witnessed the incident or seen the two vehicles inolved.

Thy have released a grainy image of the man and have appealed for them to come forward and tell officers what they saw.

The crash happened around 5pm on Saturday, May 14, on the A4137, and involved a motorbike which left the road after a collision with another unnamed vehicle, which didn’t stop at the scene.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Officers investigating a collision in St Owen’s Cross have released an image of a cyclist they believe may have witnessed the incident and could help with their enquiries.

“Officers are keen to hear from the cyclist pictured as it is believed he may have witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it.”

The image shows a bike rider with a white cycle helmet on a racing bike wearing what appearss to be cycling lycra.
