Gloucestershire police discovered 21 mature cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of £10,000 to £15,000, at a property in Lakeside Avenue in Lydney, yesterday (Thursday, February 2nd).
The police had been called to the property as they had received reports of cannabis being grown at the address.
A member of the public had contacted the police and reported that people had been visiting the address at various times of the day, but it appeared that no one had been staying there permanently.
When the police arrived at the scene yesterday, they found that the plants were being grown in a professional style set up, with an adapted electrical supply and professionally built partition wall.
Enquiries are still ongoing, and so far, no arrests have been made.
