Today, Wednesday, November 21st, an elderly lady has had her purse stolen in Ross-on-Wye.

The incident happened between 9:30am and 10:00am in a supermarket, the police have not revealed which store it was at this time. The police have reported that an unknown male bumped into her whilst she was shopping in the store. Following this, she then noticed that her purse has been stolen.

The police have described this incident as a 'distraction theft' and urge residents to be vigilant and keep their purses and wallets close to their person.
