A crew from Ross extinguished a fire in a portable horse shower appliance this afternoon, Wednesday, October 11th.
The shower is powered by a propane gas cylinder unit which was alight.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue told the Ross Gazette that the crew used breathing apparatus, foam and a thermal imaging camera at the incident at Rudge Pitch, near Ross-on-Wye at about 2.45pm. The cylinder was moved to the open air to cool down and the incident was closed by 3.30pm.
