Alison Dean from the Doward Park Campsite regularly walks the footpath from the Biblins to Monmouth.

Symonds Yat is an ideal place for a walk with its unspoilt woodland, but when she was out on Sunday she noticed that graffiti had appeared on the stones underneath the Seven Sister’s Rock.

Alison told the Ross Gazette:?“The words were quite large and very noticeable, I would have spotted them if they had been there on Saturday morning so it must have been done on Saturday evening or early Sunday morning.”

She said:?“It is such a shame that someone would think to do something like that, to have gone all the way there, with a can of spray paint to do that.”

Alison reported the vandalism to the Forestry Commission.
