There was a house fire in Much Marcle on the evening of Tuesday, January 29th.

Six fire engines from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service – two from Ross and one each from Ledbury, Fownhope, Hereford and Malvern – as well as one from Gloucester Fire and Rescue Service attended the house fire.Crews arrived at 11:32pm.The fire was extinguished using three hose reel jets and one water carrier.The crews' efforts continued into the following morning of Wednesday, January 30th, and they remained at the scene of the fire until 9.20am, continuing to use one hose reel to damp down.The cause of the fire is unknown and a fire investigation team is working to establish the cause.No casualties have been reported at this point in time.
