A white Land Rover Defender was stolen from outside the Yew Tree Inn, Peterstow, Ross-on-Wye today, Thursday, April 4th.

The police were called at 10.13am to a report of a theft of a vehicle from the pub car park.A spokesperson for the police said: "Enquiries are ongoing. If anyone witnessed the offence, please call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 151s 040419."The owners said: "Frustratingly and upsettingly, our Land Rover Defender was stolen overnight from outside the Yew Tree car park."

The registration plate is S426 UOW.
