A haulage firm has slammed yobs who daubed graffiti on the sides of their HGV cabs.

Two lorries belonging to Lloyds Haulage of Presteigne were parked overnight on a Ross-on-Wye industrial estate last week when the vandalism happened.

A driver posted: “Last Thursday morning two of our drivers who were parked up at Pennard Lane woke to start their daily checks to find that their vehicles had been vandalised whilst they slept.

“Other than the obvious damage, the mirrors were sprayed preventing the drivers from continuing until rectified.

“In a world where people are struggling to pay for food, what individuals think it’s OK to cause damage to another person’s property?”

The town has seen several vandalism incidents recently, including a memorial bench and waste being set alight at the town skatepark, plus other deliberate fires.
