The heavy rescue truck from Whitchurch Fire Station assisted at a road traffic collision on the eastbound A40 at Pencraig, near Ross-on-Wye, on Tuesday, January 10th at 7.17pm.

A crew from Ross-on-Wye and West Mercia Police also attended the incident which involved one unattended car and one articulated lorry.

The vehicles were made safe and a fuel spillage was contained.A spokesperson from West Mercia Police told the Ross Gazette: "This was a two vehicle, damage only collision, involving a blue Ford Escort and a white lorry."
