A man managed to escape from his vehicle after it went down an embankment and into a ditch on November 13th.

Emergency services were called at 6.30pm on Sunday to the A40 between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, at Pencraig.

The 26-year-old male driver escaped the vehicle himself and complained of pain in his collar bone to ambulance staff on their arrival. He was taken to Hereford County Hospital as a precaution.

A crew from Ross Fire Station attended and made the vehicle safe.
