A man was rescued after falling down a rock face at Symonds Yat on Saturday, April 29th.

Fire crews from Ross-on-Wye, West Midlands Hazardous Area Response Team and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue attended the incident which took place at approximately 6.45pm.

WMAS HART tweeted after the rescue "difficult extrication in a steeply wooded area."

The man was rescued safely and taken to hospital.
