A man was rescued from the River Wye in Ross-on-Wye on Tuesday, March 26th.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 10.38pm to reports of a man in the river. One crew from Ross attended, and a water rescue vehicle from Hereford was also at the scene.
The casualty was suffering from hypothermia.
The police called an ambulance at 10.45pm, and one ambulance and one paramedic officer attended.
The ambulance service reported that the man was assessed at the scene before being taken to Hereford County Hospital.
The incident was closed at 11.57pm.
