A man has been released by fire crews from a vehicle that went over an embankment at Wilton car park earlier today, Monday, January 4th.

The man has now been taken to hospital.

A police officer at the scene told our reporter that it was a difficult rescue due to the flooding and heavy mud, but all the services worked together to get the man freed quickly and safely.
