A man died on Gloucester Road, Ross-on-Wye, yesterday evening.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed the man died despite the best efforts of ambulance staff just after 6pm on Sunday, November 24th.

A spokesperson for the ambulance serviced told the Ross Gazette: “We were called at 5.57pm yesterday to reports of a medical emergency on Gloucester Road in Ross-on-Wye, near to HSBC.

"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car, and a Community First Responder attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was in a critical condition. Ambulance staff administered advanced life support at the scene but sadly, despite their best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
