The family of Oscar Saxelby-Lee been left sickened after finding fake profiles set up on Facebook using pictures of Oscar and his family in hospital.

Oscar’s mum, Olivia, described the posts as "disgusting" after they started using pictures of Oscar - with one linked to a scam fundraising page.

The online trolls are pretending to have a seriously ill boy in need of donations.

Oscar is currently in hospital in Singapore receiving treatment for a rare form of leukaemia and his family have been updating supporters on social media channels, under the name Hand in Hand for Oscar.

Olivia is appealing on Facebook for other users to report the fake profiles. She said: "I will do everything I can to stop these trolls but unfortunately we cannot stop them completely. Whoever you are please stop."
