A visitor to Ross-on-Wye town centre had his wallet taken by a pickpocket yesterday (Wednesday, November 11th.)

The man told police that his wallet was stolen while he was shopping in the Town Centre. He purchased some lunch and placed his wallet in the side pocket of his trousers.

He discovered it missing later that day. He contacted his bank who informed him an attempt was made to use his card at 6.28pm at a cash point in Ross. No money was gained as they did not have pin number.
