Police have issued a warning about the UK threat level from international terrorism, following the tragic events in Paris last week. The UK threat level remains at severe. This means an attack is highly likely.
There is no specific intelligence a present which suggests particular venues or events in the UK are more at risk.
Karen Manners, the Deputy Chief Constable for Warwickshire Police, said: "It is crucial at this time that communities and business remain highly vigilant to anything untoward or suspicious."
The Police depend hugely on information from communities and the public should be encouraged to report any activity considered to be suspicious. This can be directly to the police on 101/999 or via the confidential Anti-Terrorist Hotline 0800 789 321.
