Ross-on-Wye Neighbourhood Watch are warning residents of men who have been ’snooping’ around people’s houses and businesses.

They have been seen in Ross-on-Wye, Tewkesbury, Newent, and areas of the Forest of Dean.

A spokesperson for the Neighbourhood Watch said: "They have been trying doors of closed businesses in the evenings and weekends and have been seen walking into people’s gardens.

"A number of residents in the Forest of Dean area have said that they have seen them take ’stuff’ out of gardens (without any permission at all).

"If challenged as to what they are doing they get very ’verbal’ very quickly and have a complete ’don’t care’ attitude."

If you see this van or the occupants, call 101. Police across Herefordshire and Gloucestershire have been trying to get them for a few months now.
