The three roads at Rudhall that were closed by police this morning, have now re-opened.
Ross-on-Wye Fire Crew were in attendance at an incident near Phocle Green, after overhead power lines collapsed. There were two fire engines were called, because of the distance of the fallen cables.
The Ross Gazette spoke to Western Power engineers who also attended the scene.
The power in that area is still off, while Western Power carry out safety checks to the cables.
A spokesperson from Western Power Distribution told the Gazette that a third party contractor damaged underground cables, which caused a problem on the circuit which brought down overhead lines. A team from Western Power are currently on the scene, carrying out repairs.
