A crew from Ross-on-Wye Fire Station was joined by crews from Whitchurch and Ledbury to attend a baler fire in a field at Ross, on Saturday, August 31st.

A spokesperson for HWFRS told the Ross Gazette that a call to the Fire Service was made at 7.15pm and the baler was well alight by the time the crews arrived. They used compressed foam to extinguish the blaze. The incident was closed at 22.55. There were no casualties.
