Police have reported a number of incidents in the Ross-on-Wye area over the last few days. The latest incidents are listed below.

Between 7pm on Monday, March 14th and 8am on Tuesday, March 15th unknown persons have broken into three outbuildings on a farm in Kings Caple. A Sterling Europa caravan was stolen from one of the buildings. This was a double axel caravan, cream in colour.

Between 4.30pm on Monday, March 14th and 7.15am on Tuesday, March 15th a shed at a golf club in Upton Bishop was broken into and items stolen from within. Offenders took two Stihl chainsaws, two strimmers and various other equipment, these items were placed into an Ifor Williams Trailer worth £3500. And they then made off with the trailer and all of the other items.

On Tuesday, March 15th between 2pm and 4pm a Mitsubishi Canter flatbed was broken into while parked near a public house in the Rope Walk area, Ross-on-Wye.

A number of gardening power tools were stolen from a steel box container that was bolted to the flatbed.

The Ross Gazette reported this incident on the day it took place after being informed that the equipment belonged to the Town Council grass cutting contractor.

At 3.40pm on Tuesday, March 15th a gentleman returned home to Nursery Road from shopping, he was approached by two Eastern European males offering to help him with his shopping bags. The gentleman later noticed his wallet on the floor and his credit cards were missing from it. It is believed that the men had watched the gentleman in Morrisons, and had been behind him as he has entered his pin number to pay for his shopping.
