Ross-on-Wye fire crews attended several incidents over the past few week involving pet rescues.
On Friday, October 21st at 4.07pm, two crews from Ross attended a small animal rescue in Redhill Road.
A dog was stuck in a fallen tree trunk 10 feet down an embankment. The dog was released uninjured using bow saws
On Sunday, October 23rd a Labrador was rescued from the River Wye at Sellack at 5.53pm.
One crew from Ross attended and the dog was rescued by the water first responder team, and reunited with its owner who was advised to visit their vet.
