The A49 near St. Owen’s Cross is currently closed following a collision earlier today between a tractor and a cyclist.

The collision happened at approximately 5pm today, Friday, July 20th by the Red Lion Pub. Emergency services attended the scene, including the Air Ambulance.

West Mercia Police said the road is expected to remain closed for a few more hours to allow for collision investigation. Diversions are in place.Update 9pm: the road has now reopened
