The European Quality Food shop, on Brookend Street, Ross-on-Wye was broken into twice, two nights in a row. The first incident took place in Sunday, May 22nd, between 4am and 4.20am.
The burglars smashed the front window to the shop in gain access, and they stole a quantity of tobacco.
The following day, on Monday, May 23rd, between 2.54am and 3.30am, the burglars approached the same shop, and threw silver boules at the window, causing it to smash.
Eyewitnesses describe seeing a small thin man, who fled the scene. He was wearing all black clothing, he carried a rucksack and wore a white mas on his face.
Police are investigating, and are appealing to the public for information. If you witnessed anything suspicious, please call 101. The reference number for the first incident is 204-S-220516. The reference for the second is 38-S-230516.
