Firefighters are attending a blaze at Compton Green Business Park, near Newent.

The small industrial estate is situated close to the village of Brand Green, and is home to several businesses.

It offers units for storage, many of which are full of equipment.

A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service told the Ross Gazette: “We were called today, Thursday, May 16th, at 1.32pm about a fire at Compton Green Business Park near Newent.

"Six fire engines were sent; two from Gloucester, one from Newent, one from Cinderford and two from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.

"We are still onsite and the fire is ongoing.”
