An on-going incident on the A40 has closed the road from Wilton to Labels.

A reporter on the scene has witnessed the Air Ambulance and emergency crews arriving to deal with the RTC.

Traffic is heavy around the A40, Wilton area and Edde Cross Street.

More updates to follow.At 14.36 the Highways Agency confirmed that the A40 was closed in both directions between the Wilton roundabout and Labels. Delays to the bus services are expected as traffic is very heavy in the Ross area.The Air Ambulance left the scene at 14.39.15.27pm A40 now re-opened in both directions.
